Note :-
Dedicated to my grandmother whom died of cancer.
The days in the past have come to pass
But what has been taught have come to last
Lessons in life that can’t be replaced with gold
I want to thank you, wish I still had your hand to hold
The words you said to me before you left my life
I hold them inside of me every day until the day I die
Though I was a stubborn child, you taught me to behave
Though I don’t always listen, you got through to my stubborn head
Like strong pillars holding up a building
You are the wind beneath my wings when I’m flying
I was too young to understand what it all meant
When the news from the doctors hit, my parents wept
But now that I’ve grown up, like an old beloved car
My heart beats with a permanent dent
Over these past 15 years, the thought of you lives inside of me
Forever will you be etched into the depths of my memory...
